To the casual observer, the amount of money collected in memory of Larry Ugale would seem an incredible sum (over $10,000.00)…
But not to those who knew Larry…
If we were to describe Larry using monetary terms, we would say that
Larry walked through life handing thousand dollar bills to everyone he encountered.
Of course, this comparison does a great injustice to Larry, for he provided something that no amount of money can equate:
he provided love, respect, and encouragement without bound to all …
While this money will help his family get through the short term, his love will get them through long after.
Thank you to everyone who opened their hearts and wallets. Larry would be proud!
August 29 - Art Simmons reports that he spoke with County Supervisor Steve Bennett
re: the Board of Supervisors meeting on August 30th. They plan a special adjournment in honor of Larry Ugale!
