Bob Citron (aka BLB)
along with his brother-in-law (Surfdog) and Rasta Dave.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
May 29 - June 3, 2003
"Marina Sol Condos, where we stayed. This was in Cabo San Lucas proper, and close to
“The Office” where we ate breakfast. Pretty good Mexican food, but more expensive than home!
Rasta Dave, looking past Zippers and toward the East Cape. Our ride that took us out onto the Cape every morning.
4WD is a must if you really want to get off this main road.
Locals, coming to greet us. They love donuts. Surfdog, hiding his gut at our secret spot called “shacks”.
Unidentified intruder to our spot.
Surfdog setting up for the top turn.
Faraway shot of BLB's drop and bottom turn.
This wave had a nice bowl section on the drop, then lined up for about 100 yards.
The crystal-clear 77 degree water and (usually) uncrowded lineups are something to see.
We vowed to come back on a regular basis.
If you have the patience or a fast Internet connection, you can view 2 video clips of the trip.
