Costa Azul, Mexico
August 2002
"The weather was hot and humid (lots of beers by the poolside).
The ocean water and sun beating down on your back required lots of sun screen and rash guards."
"The surf break is called Chacala. They taxi you to each surf spot, feed you snacks, beer, etc."
"Chacala is a left break that is good on a medium tide. This wave can break for a good 50 to 100 yards."
"The reef is filled with urchins too! (booties? can't stand 'em!)."
"We had three good days of surf. The pictures were taken by my wife, Lorinda from the boat."
